Share your routes. Protect your members' homes.
Every GPX route shared through ReadyRoll automatically hides the first and last 200 metres — so home addresses stay private.
Sharing a GPX file shares your address.
When a club member records a ride from their front door and shares the GPX file with the group, that file contains GPS coordinates that begin within metres of their home. Anyone who downloads it can pinpoint exactly where that person lives.
Most clubs share routes publicly — on their website, in their group chat, or through event listings — without realising they're broadcasting the home addresses of whoever originally recorded the route. This is a real privacy and personal safety risk, particularly for solo riders who often start from home.
Automatic 200-metre privacy masking, built into every upload.
ReadyRoll's route engine trims the first and last 200 metres of every GPX file the moment it's uploaded. The trimmed section — which almost always covers the private residential area around the start or end point — is never stored or displayed to other members.
Members and admins still see the full elevation profile and complete route details. The masking only removes the short section at each end that would otherwise reveal a home address. The meet-point — typically a car park, coffee shop, or trailhead — is still displayed clearly as the visible start of the route.
No settings to configure. No opt-in required. Privacy masking is on by default for every route, every time.
What privacy masking means for your club
No manual editing of GPX files
Members upload their file once. ReadyRoll trims the private zone automatically — no desktop software, no extra steps, no risk of forgetting.
Members see the full route and elevation — nothing hidden except home proximity
The masked zone is typically a residential street or cul-de-sac. Everything else — climbs, turns, distance, elevation profile — is visible in full.
Works with any GPX file from Garmin, Strava, or RideWithGPS
If your device or app can export a GPX file, ReadyRoll can mask it. No proprietary format required, no platform lock-in.
