How to request deletion
You can request deletion of your ReadyRoll account and associated data in two ways:
- In-app: Go to Profile → scroll to the bottom → tap Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm, then the request is submitted immediately.
- By email: Send a request to staff@readyroll.app from the email address on your account.
What gets deleted
The following personally identifying information is permanently deleted:
- Your name (first and last)
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Safety Link and Safety Notes
- Governing-body membership claim and ID
- Strava OAuth token (connection revoked)
- Profile photo
- Emergency contact information (if present)
What gets anonymised (not deleted)
Aggregate ride and run records are anonymised rather than deleted. This preserves your club's historical records (total distance, session counts) without identifying you.
Anonymised activity records carry no name, email, or route data. They are linked to your club, not to you. This approach is consistent with GDPR Recital 26 — anonymised data is outside the scope of personal data.
Grace period and timeline
- 7-day grace period: after submitting your request, you have 7 days to cancel. Reply to the confirmation email or contact staff@readyroll.app with your request ID.
- 30-day SLA: deletion is completed within 30 days of the request (we target same-day execution after the grace period expires).
Scope
This process covers your Member account, Club memberships, Lead status, Session RSVPs and attendance records, your Strava connection, and any safety or profile information.
ReadyRoll is currently available to clubs in Canada and Commonwealth countries. Members anywhere may submit deletion requests regardless of residence.
